Our mission is to improve the care of women with uterine fibroids in Canada.
Our history
Through our personal experiences, we noticed the lack of information, structures and platforms dedicated to uterine fibroids in Quebec and in Canada.
We thus felt the need and the desire to come together and act together to improve the medical, social and psychological conditions of women with uterine fibroids. The main objective is to provide these women with better access to information.
In addition, many women are affected by this disease without ever being diagnosed. They therefore live with recurring ailments, day after day, month after month and sometimes year after year due to a lack of knowledge of the disease, a trivialization of symptoms or late diagnosis.
On February 12, 2016, the Vivre 100 fibromes association was registered in the Companies register with the aim of helping these people.
